Columbia Engineering launches a major program in graphene research including Electrical Engineering’s Rickey Professor of Optical Communications Tony Heinz, Professor John Kymissis, Higgins Professor Richard Osgood, and Professor Ken Shepard. Since 1984, Electrical Engineering faculty has been an integral part of the growing interdisciplinary research efforts in fundamental electronic materials.
