1965 Computer Critical Race
It was 1965 when I created as a EE graduate student a laboratory computer to model critical races (not even sure if modern engineers use the same terminology for potential errors due to pulses arriving at different moments at a logic circuit due to differences in paths of transmission). The system was made from solid state circuits provided by Bell Labs and a patch panel from IBM, both scrounged from my contacts at the Research Divisions of those two at the time premier research companies.
