SEAS is an amazing community of creative, dedicated and solutions-oriented people that I feel honored to be a part of. When I look at the types of problems that arise each day in my life professionally and personally, I feel grateful for the commitment to innovation and excellence that was instilled in me through my education at Columbia. As an engineering school within the broader framework of the diverse intellectual microcosm of Columbia, SEAS is uniquely positioned to give its students a strong engineering foundation within the context of a world-class university, where students have the privilege of seeing firsthand how their academic passions interact with the world surrounding them, from entrepreneurship at the business school to Computational Genomics at the medical school. I consider myself very fortunate to have been a recipient of Columbia Engineering education that continues to deepen my understanding of the world we live in long after tossing up our graduation caps on Low Plaza.
