Columbia Engineering recognizes that technical training alone will not produce a successful engineer; humanities, entrepreneurship, and culture are equally important parts of a comprehensive education. As a result, Columbia engineers develop the versatility, fortitude, and compassion necessary to succeed in nearly any industry. My fellow alumni and I aren't just engineers—we're leaders armed with the expertise to address scientific challenges, the management skills to successfully helm a project team, and the global awareness to make decisions with conscience.
