Rock & Roll Is Here to Stay
Perhaps not the funniest, but amusing memory: A freshman roommate, who really didn't care for rock and roll music, built a radio which had no tuning knob. He had designed it to receive only WQXR, a classical music station. When he finished and first turned on the power, the only station that came blasting through was WABC, perhaps the most powerful rock station in the NY area.
